The Freshman basketball team was defeated by the Salem High School at Salem last night, by the close score of 22 to 19. All during the first half the game was even, the score standing 10 to 10 at the end of the period. The goal from a foul, which lost the game, came in the last three minutes of play.

Although the superiority of the Salem team at covering was evident, the Freshmen played a game the more creditable as it was their first game outside of Cambridge.
