RECEPTION TO MAJOR HIGGINSON

To Be Given at the Union on October Fifteenth.

A reception will be given in the Union to Major H. L. Higginson, h.'82, on Tuesday evening, October 15, at 8 o'clock. Major Higginson, who has recently returned from abroad, President Eliot and Malcolm Donald '99 will be the speakers; and a poem will be read by E. R. Warren '88. It is hoped that Mr. Charles Francis Adams '56 will preside.

Among the invited guests are the Governor of Massachusetts, the Mayor of Cambridge, the Trustees of the Union, the Overseers of Harvard College, various members of the Faculty, and the headmasters of the leading preparatory schools.

The club house will be open to members only. Refreshments will be served in the main dining room after the reception.
