Owing to the confusion that existed last year in arranging inter-class debates, the University Debating Club has made the schedule of debates for the second half year unusually early. In the inter-class debates this year the Juniors will have the choice of sides in the Junior-Senior debate, and in the Sophomore-Freshman debate the Sophomores will submit the question and the Freshmen have choice of sides. The work on each inter-class debates must be completed within twenty-five days, and all of the inter-class debate must be ended by the Easter recess. The dates of the trials and debates are as follows. February 11, the questions for the Senior-Junior, Sophomore-Freshman debates will be announced; March 8, Sophomore-Freshman debate; March 15, the question for the Pasteur medal debate will be announced; April 9, Pasteur medal debate.
For the Senior-Junior debate the Seniors will hold but one trial, February 14. The Juniors will also hold but one trial for this debate, February 15. For the Sophomores-Freshman debate the Sophomore will hold two trials, February 15 and 18. The Freshmen will hold their trials February 14 and 18. The judges are to be secured by the executive committee of the University Debating Club.
