The Yale University crew and four-oar with two substitutes left New Haven for New London yesterday afternoon. The order of the crews are now probably final. As considerable criticism has been made by graduates on the men chosen, Coach Gallaudet and Captain Allen have determined to keep the entire charge of the crew in their own hands and all graduates who visit the quarters will be requested to take no part in the coaching. The orders:
University eight--Stroke, Cameron; 7, Blagden; 6, Allen (capt.); 5, Cross; 4, Brock; 3, Niedecken; 2, Wickes; bow, Mitchell; cox., Chittenden.
Four-oar--Stroke, Williams; 3, Hooker; 2, Kunsig; bow, Lincoln.
Substitutes--Anchincloss, Atkinson.
