The Freshman crew has undergone a number of changes during the past few days. On Wednesday the eight rowed in two orders, as follows: Stroke, Roberts; 7, Ayer; 6, Whitwell; 5, Bowditch; 4, McGrew; 3, James, Graydon; 2, Foster, Switzer; bow, George, Hartwell; cox., Stokes. For two days the second crew has not gone out, owing to the fact that a number of its men were tried in the first boat. Besides the eight men at the training table the following have been taken: Bowditch, Foster, George, Brown.
The new shell is completed, and will be ready for use today, though it is probable that the crew will not be seated in it until the first of next week.
