Second Nine Defeats C. H. and L.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Second nine defeated the Cambridge High and Latin School team yesterday by the score of 13 to 2. After the second inning the Second nine made at least one run in every inning, while their opponents scored only in the fourth on an error by Keene. Clarkson, who pitched for the school boys, was hit freely throughout the game, but Coburn allowed only three scattered hits and was especially effective with men on bases. Both teams played a rather loose fielding game. Innings,  1  2  3  4  5  6  7  8  9  runs.  b.h.  e. Second Nine,  1  0  2  1  1  1  3  4  *  13  11  6 C.
