Ellis Bequest Sustained.

The Supreme Court has sustained the bequests of Calvin Ellis '46 and his sister, Lucy Ellis, which convey to the University property valued at about $140,000. The bequests provide that part of the income from the money shall be used for the benefit of such decendants of David and Beulah Ellis, and John and Hannah Ellis as may be students in Harvard College, while the residue shall go to endow three professorships and pay general expenses in the Medical Department.
