Considerable changes are to be made in Holyoke House during the coming summer. Heretofore rooms 4, 9, 10 and 14 of the second floor and the corresponding rooms on the three floors above have had two bedrooms; one on the outside, the other opening into an air-shaft within. These inner rooms will now be converted into large closets, and the space formerly occupied by closets will be added to the outside room, making one large double bedroom. It is hoped in this way to secure adequate light and air, which are not obtainable with the present arrangement.
