The German Play.

The performance of Goethe's "Iphigenie auf Tauris" by Mr. Conried's German company will be held on March 22 man at 7. 45 p. m. The Pierian Sodality will render Gluck's overture to the opera of Iphigenie before the play, but there will be no music between the acts.

Tickets may be obtained on or before Saturday, March 10, by written application to Charles W. Sever & Co., University Bookstore, Cambridge. The price of tickets are: Floor and first gallery $2, second gallery $1. Tickets will be sent by mail on March 13. In the assignment of seats, preference will be given to members of the University and of Radcliffe College. All tickets not disposed of at this sale will be put on sale at the University Bookstore on Thursday, March 15, at 8 o'clock a. m.

A book of the play containing the German text (Weimar edition), the translation by Miss Swanwick, a portrait of Goethe, and an introduction by Professor Kuno Francke, may be had at the bookstores for 50 cents a copy, or will be sent by mail by Charles W. Sever & Co. on receipt of the price.
