Rev. J. P. McQuaid will lecture tonight under the auspices of the Catholic Club in Phillips Brooks House, on "Experiences and Observations in the Philippines." Dr. McQuaid has spent considerable time in the Philippines acting as chaplain of one of the California volunteer regiments. The lecture will begin at 8 o'clock, and will be open to the members of the University.
On April 4, Rev. William Henry of St. Charles Seminary, Overbrook, Pa., will also lecture before the Catholic Club in the Fogg Lecture Room on "Religion in Shakspere." This will be the most important of the Catholic Club lectures, and will, in a way, be a reply to a recent article by Professor Santayana, entitled, "The Absence of Religion in Shakspere." This lecture will be open to the public.
