The University hockey team defeated Dorchester on Franklin Field, Saturday afternoon by a score of 2 to 0. As the ice was in very poor condition only ten-minute halves were played. The Harvard line-up was as follows: Russell, goal; Vanderpool, point; Hardy, coverpoint; Beardsell, Goodridge, Laverack, Hoxie, forwards.
On Spy Pond the Sophomores beat the Seniors in the first game of the final series for the class championship, by a score of 5 to 1. 1902 easily excelled in team play, and showed accuracy in shooting for goal. The teams lined up as follows: 1900--Goodridge, (Carpenter), goal; Clement, (Carpenter), point; Farrington, (Ward), coverpoint; George, Parker, Drinkwater, Ward, (Clement), forwards. 1902--Peirce, goal; Stevenson, point; Metcalf, coverpoint; Winsor, Chaffee, Pruyn, Burgess, forwards.
