Mr. J. M. Rice last night addressed the Educational Conference on "Elementary Education: Its Present Status and its Possibilities." Mr. Rice said in part: Definite goals, determined by practical experience, should be fixed and observed by every school, instead of leaving all to varying traditions and theories.
