The New England division of the Fencing League of America is making arrangements for a large tournament open to teams of three men from New England fencing organizations. The tournament will be divided into three contests. The first one will be held on January 12 at either the Boston Athletic Club or in Cambridge, the second at Worcester, and the third at Providence. The dates of the last two contests will be decided on January 12. Each man on each team will fence with every member of every other team.
A trophy will be offered, marking the New England team championship. This will be won outright by the successful team. If the tournament proves a success and the interest continues, a perpetual challenge trophy may be offered.
Among those who will enter teams are the following: The Boston Athletic Association second team, the Worcester Fencing Club, the Providence Fencing Club, and probably the Brown University Fencing Club.
