At a meeting last night of men interested in checkers it was decided to organize a club. A committee of three was appointed to draw up a constitution and to organize the club at once. It was decided to start a tournament at once. Meetings will be held every Thursday evening, and all men interested in checkers are invited to attend the meeting next Thursday.
A challenge has already been received from Brown University for a match to be played this fall.
