Quarterly Journal of Economics.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The career of the Quarterly Journal of Economics, under charge of the Economics Department, has been so successful that the editors have decided to increase the size of the magazine, and make its contents more varied. The change in form will be accompanied by an increase in price from two to three dollars.

The chief additions which will be made to the magazine will consist in a summary of information regarding the authorship and nature of new books and of articles in periodicals; the general department will be enlarged, and an effort will be made to print contributions of enduring value to economic science.

The editor of the present volume, which is the fourteenth, is Professor F. W. Taussig, chairman of the department of Economics.
