At a special meeting of the Board of Overseers yesterday morning, a communication was received from the President and Fellows in regard to the consolidation of the Medical, Dental and Veterinary faculties for a school of comparative medicine, and the amendments of the statutes in accordance therewith.
The Board of Overseers voted to consent to the consolidation and the amendments.
It was also voted to concur with the President and Fellows in their votes changing the title of Edward Cornelius Briggs, M.D., D. M. D., from professor of materia medica and therapeutics to professor of dental materia medica and therapeutics.
