Although little more than a week remains before the Yale game, the Freshmen have not lately shown much improvement in team play. Next week, however, the men will be coached individually and collectively by members of the University eleven, and a decided change for the better is expected.

In yesterday's line-up, the first eleven was largely made up of substitutes, and the second was able to gain at every point in the line. A touchdown was made by them on a twenty yard run by Marean through left tackle. During the latter part of the practice the first eleven braced up and succeeded in making one touchdown.

The line up follows: First Eleven.  Second Eleven. Campbell, Bowditch, l.e.  r.e., Littig. McGrew, l.t.  r.t., Piper. Wright, Graydon, l.g.  r.g., Pitkin. Sugden, c.  c., Hadden. Riggs, Jones, r.g.  l.g., Cudaby. Knowlton, Fox, r.t.  l.t., Randolph. Waterbury, r.e.  l.e., Noyes. Daly, q.b.  q.b., Lovering. Hersey, l.h.  r.h., Percival, Marean. Swann, r.h.  l.h., McGlensey. Kernan, f.b.  f.b., Switzer.
