The Chess Club defeated the Somerville Y. M. C. A. by the score of 6 to 2, in a match played last Wednesday night.
The following men are now in the final round of the chess tournament: E. Perry '03, E. B. Barnes 1L., A. E. Landry '01, F. E. Fair '01, and W. Catchings '01. All these men will play two games against each other and the two men winning the greatest number will represent the team in the intercollegiate tournament to held in New York in December.
