The second Cambridge performance of the Hasty Pudding play was given last night. The house was full and the audience appreciative throughout. The Beacon Babies were encored several times and the sailors' dance, the women's dance, the finals of the first act, and a couple of the songs took very well. The play has been very much shortened since the dress rehearsal and graduates' night with the result that it is improved in proportion.
The last Cambridge performance is tonight. The Boston performances are on Friday and Saturday. The tickets for these have all been sold.
