Claudius F. Farnsworth, one of the most prominent members of the Rhode Island bar, died Wednesday at his home in Pawtucket, R. I.

Mr. Farnsworth was born in Groton, Mass., in 1815. He prepared for college at Groton Academy and graduated from Harvard with the class of '41. Three years later he graduated from the Law School and was admitted to the bar. He represented Pawtucket in the lower house of the General Assembly for years, also serving as town solicitor.
