The Harvard Golf Club defeated the Brookline Country Club on the latter's links, Saturday afternoon by the score of 34 to 4. This score was partly accounted for by the absence of five of the Country Club's regular players. Curtis's defeat of the crack golfer, Herbert Leeds, by 2 up was very promising.
