The nine was victorious in the game with Hampton, in both games with Georgetown, and in the second game with the University of Virginia. The defeats were by Manhattan College and the University of Virginia. The trip showed that the nine was weak in the batting department, but capable of a snappy game in the field. The battery showed great improvement.
