About twenty men met in the Trophy Room at the Gymnasium last night and organized the Harvard Water Polo Association. F. Pope was elected president, and D. C. Williams, secretary. The playing rules as now in practice at the B. A. A. and at the Knickerbocker Club of New York, were adopted.
A team composed of six players will play the first practice game today in Boston.
Interest in the game is steadily increasing here and the association has already secured the services of a coach. Negotiations are now in progress for a game with one or two local teams, and it is hoped that games may be arranged with Yale and several other college teams.
