The promenade concert given by the Pierian Sodality last night in Brattle Hall, complimentary to Mr. Lehmann and the University crew, was an unqualified success. Among those present, besides Mr. Lehmann and the crew, were Dr. Marcou, Dr. Collidge, Mr. Spaulding, Mr. Lathrop, members of the football and athletic teams, and editors of the different college papers.
During the intermission, after a round of cheers, Mr. Lehmann made a short speech, mentioning his trip to Yale and warning the crew that they would find no mean opponents either in Yale or in Cornell.
The music was exceptionally good and frequent encores were given. The concert broke up with the singing of "Fair Harvard."
