On Monday the broad jumpers commenced regular work on Holmes Field and a number of men began practice. J. G. Clarke L. S. S., who has done 22 ft. 8 1-2 in. in broad jump, but was troubled with a weak ankle last year, is out again and in good condition.

The pole vaulters are now practicing regularly. The men who have come out are A. B. Emmons '98, E. D. Brooks '99, F. Curtis '98, R. H. Morrison '99, and R. A. Garrison 1900. Hoyt expects to join the squad tomorrow.

The low hurdlers ran trials yesterday and some very good work was done. The distance which is being run is 110 yards with 5 hurdles.
