The collection cases in the lecture room of the Peabody Museum are now being rearranged and filled with objects illustrating the customs and habits of the North American Indians.

For many years past collections of relics from the different Indian tribes have been accumulating in the museum. A number of these were obtained a hundred years ago or more and are of great importance, as, owing to the changes in Indian customs they could not now be replaced.
