The regular weekly meeting of the Forum was held last night in Sever 11. The former meetings of the club have always been held on Friday night, in Harvard 1, but as the latter place has been considered unsuitable, the above change was made. The question debated was, "Resolved, That the United States should annex Hawaii." At the business meeting which followed R. L. Kennedy L. S., W. I. Parker L. S., H. R. Scott L. S., S. W. Merrill '99, were elected to membership. A committee was appointed to confer with a similar committee from the Union and arrange for a joint reception to Mr. Lehmann on his return.
In conclusion there was an enthusiastic discussion of the University Club movement and the following resolution was adopted. "Resolved, That the Harvard Forum heartily endorses the present movement for the proposed University Club and that suitable resolutions be presented to the graduate committee."
