American College Football.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The new book on "The American College Game of Football," by W. H. Lewis, centre on the Harvard Eleven for two years, is published in the belief that "something might be written upon the game that would possibly be a little more help to the fitting schools and first year men in college than books already upon the market." The literature of the game at present seems rather historical and general than fundamental and scientific. Indeed one branch of the game, "Fundametals or Rudiments," has never been written up at all.

The aim of the new work is to give a clear, analytical and scientific exposition of the game, as will be seen from the table of contents.
