Mr. T. Yokoi of New Haven will deliver a lecture on "The Progress of Civilization in Japan," before the Harvard Pedagogical Club on Thursday, May 7, at 7.30 p. m., in Harvard 1. Mr. Yokoi is a Japanese of unusually liberal views on religion, education and government. During the past few years he has studied at American universities, and has travelled extensively through the country as a student of American institutions. In the course of his residence here he has gained a thorough mastery of the English language. As he has made a special study of the subject on which he is to speak, his lecture promises to be of more than ordinary interest. It will be open to the public.
