The freshman baseball squad did not get out yesterday. It is expected, however, that the outfielders will get outdoors very shortly, if the weather permits. At present the battery candidates are under the supervision of Thomas Barnes, who pitched for the Bostons some years ago. At first the pitchers used only a straight ball, but they are now practicing curves. It will probably be necessary to cut down the squad still further before they get out doors.
