The seventh indoor athletic meeting for the schools will be held today in Mechanics Building at 2 p. m., under the auspices of the B. A. A.
The events will be scratch and as follows: 40 yards dash, 300 yards run, 600 yards run, 1000 yards run, half mile walk, running high jump, putting 16 pound shot, pole-vault, 45 yards low hurdle race. There will also be a team race between Worcester High and Worcester Academy, the two schools winning first and second places respectively in last year's meeting. Five other team races have also been arranged. Twenty schools will compete.
The silver shield offered by the B. A. A. to the school winning the most out of nine meetings has been won twice by Hopkinson, twice by Worcester High School, once by Roxbury Latin School, and the remaining time Hopkinsons and Roxbury Latin tied.
