The current number of the Illustrated American contains an article, "When Furness was at Harvard." The Reverend William Henry Furness, who died recently at Philadelphia, was the oldest living graduate of Harvard. He was graduated in 1820. The article is illustrated by a picture of Dr. Furness and cuts of Holden Chapel, Hollis, Holworthy, and University Halls in 1820.
