I. The History of Education, General Principles of Education, and Courses of Study, by Assistant Professor Paul II. Hanus.

II. Psychology Applied to Teaching, by Professor William James.

III. School Hygiene, by Assistant Professor George W. Fitz.

IV. The Study of Children, by Principal E. H. Russell, State Normal School, Worcester, Mass.

METHODS OF TEACHING GEOMETRY AND ALGEBRA TO BEGINNERS.Twelve exercises in Methods of Teaching Geometry and Algebra with special reference to the needs of grammar school teachers will be conducted by Assistant Professor Paul H. Hanus. The topics considered will cover-

1. The Choice of the Subject-matter.

2. Methods of Teaching with Illustratrative Class Exercises.
