Last Saturday evening in 50 Thayer the old members of the Chess Club held a short business meeting. A committee of five was appointed by the president to make arrangements for the coming tournament. The committee consists of E. E. Southard '97, J. Hewins, Jr., F. E. Thayer '99, C. H. Dunn and H. C. Ffoulke.
A blank book for entries in the tournament will be placed in Bartlett's drug store Monday. Entries will be fifty cents and will close Saturday, October 10, at 6 o'clock sharp. All entrance fees are payable at time of entry.
