Princeton Debate.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The committee of arrangements on the Princeton debate organized last evening with the choice of A. M. Sayre '98, as chairman. It was voted to have no secretary but to let the chairman attend to all correspondence. The chair was instructed to write and urge Princeton to send her choice of subject as soon as possible so that arrangements can be made to hold trial debates at an early date. The committee will adopt the method of holding trial debates which has been used so successfully by the Freshman Debating Club for the last two years, that is to have ten men selected at the first trial debate and the final speakers to be selected from these ten speaking at a second trial debate. The first trial will be held if possible within two or three weeks.

If Princeton's choice of subject is received in time the first trial debate will be Tuesday, Oct. 27 and the second will be on the following Friday. There will be three judges at the first debate and six at the second. The debate is to be held at Princeton, Dec. 5.
