The competitive debate for the choice of men to speak in the Princeton debate will take place in Sever 11, Friday, January 17. Each speaker will be allowed five minutes and may support either side of the question.
The question, as already announced in the CRIMSON, will be: "Resolved, That Congress should take immediate steps toward the complete retirement of all the legal tender notes." The debate itself will be held in Sanders Theatre, on Friday, March 13.
The subject chosen has especial interest at the present time, because it is practically the very problem in finance which is now under discussion at Washington. It is therefore hoped that all who intend to try for the debate can give to the question the through preparation which it deserves and requires.
