Some changes were made in the make-up of the 'varsity crew yesterday afternoon. Fennessy stroked the crew, and Bullard went to No. 4. Cameron alternated with Townsend at No. 7. Otherwise the crew rowed as usual.
The first '97 crew went on the water for the first time. They used the paper barge which the 'varsity has been using. Following is the order in which the men rowed: Sleeper, stroke; Hollister, 7; Sprague, 6; Houghton, 5; Chatman, 4; Duffield, 3; Cornwall, 2; Lord, bow.
