The thirty-ninth annual meeting of the Association of Colleges in New England is being held in Hanover, N. H., this week. The meeting went into secret session at four o'clock Thursday afternoon, and held a session Thursday evening. Another was held yesterday morning and afternoon. The following named are in attendance as delegates: Harvard, Professor J. H. Wright; Yale, President T. Dwight and Professor F. D. Seymour; Brown, President E. B. Andrews and Professor Winslow Upton; Williams, President F. Carter and Professor J. E. Russell; Amherst, President M. E. Gates and Professor E. Hitchcock; Trinity, President G. W. Smith and Professor C. F. Johnson; Wesleyan, President B. P. Raymond and Professor A. C. Armstrong, Jr.; Tufts, President; E. H. Capen and Professor F. P Graves; Boston University, President W. F. Warren and Professor W. E. Huntington; Bowdoin, President William DeWitte Hyde and Professor F. C. Robinson; Clark University, President G. S. H. II and Professor W. E.
