The latest addition to the list of small magazines has just issued from the University Press. It is called the "Shadow." Unlike the rest of its order, it seems to come before the world with an honest literary purpose, and not merely to scoff and to cheer. The first number is bright and intellectual without being "dicadent." As to outer appearance the "Shadow" is simple, rather artistic, and attractive, with a classical cover and good typography.
