St. Paul's Society Reception.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Invitations have been issued by the St. Paul's Society for a reception to be held in the rooms of the Colonial Club, Quincy street, on the evening of Oct. 30. A similar reception given about this time last year was a decided success, and the present occasion promises to be even more complete and enjoyable than the former. Bishop Lawrence, Dr. Donald, Dean Hodges, Rev. Wm. B. King, Rev. Charles Perry, and Rev. Edward Abbott will be present of the clergy, Professors Shaler, de Sumichrast, Morgan, Wendell, and others of the University, and several prominent laymen of Boston and Cambridge.

Incidentally one or two informal addresses will be made by Bishop Lawrence and others; and music will be provided by L'Africaine's House orchestra composed of Boston Symphony players.

Special invitations have been sent to those churchmen who are in the University for the first time this year.
