Shooting Club.

The Shooting Club will begin its regular fall matches on Thursday afternoon, October 23. Last spring the club opened its new club house in Allston. The matches will be practically the same as those of last year, namely: An open match for all members of the club; a closed match for those who have never won prizes; and a handicap match for both prize winners and non-prize winners, the prize winners allowing the new men a fair number of birds. The "Founders' Cup" will be shot for tomorrow. This is a handsome silver challenge cup presented by the original founders of the club. There is also a match every fall with the Country club.

The club house is situated on Boylstou Street opposite the Weld boat house. The grounds will be open at two o'clock. Cartridges can be bought at Brook's. Men wishing to join the club can do so at the grounds.
