A series of geological excursions, open to all members of the University, will be conducted by the officers of the Departments of Geology and of Mineralogy and Petrography during October and November. It is desirable that persons wishing to take part in any of these excursions should send notice of their intention, not later than Wednesday of the week in question, to Mr. T. A. Jaggar, 60 Perkins Hall. Mr. Jaggar may be consulted daily from 9 to 10 a. m. in Room 2, Geological Department, M. Z., and will be prepared to give information concerning travelling expenses, etc.

Excursion 4.- Saturday, Oct. 26. Mr. J. B. Woodworth. The Cambrian and Carboniferous rocks of Attleboro, Mass.

Excursion 5.- Friday, Nov. 1. Professor W. M. Davis. The relations of the Triassic sandstones and lava beds at Meriden, Conn.

Excursion 6.- Saturday, Nov. 9. Professor W. M. Davis. The Terminal Moraine of Rhode Island.
