The Harvard University Cycling Association will hold a race meeting on Holmes Field on Monday, October 21, at 4 p. m. The events will be a one-half mile scratch, a two mile handicap and a one mile scratch. This meeting will be open to riders in the University only, as the object is to increase interest in bicycle racing and to develop material for the Mott-Haven team.
Owing to the large number of men training this fall the races promise to be hotly contested, and will give an opportunity to judge of the material in the entering class.
All men who have ever raced, or wanted to, are urged to come out. Entries close with W. R. Brinckerhoff, 13 Matthews Hall, on Friday, Oct. 18.
