The Wendell Phillips Club held its meeting last evening, but owing to the small attendance, voted to postpone the election of officers till the first meeting after the mid-years. W. L. Appleton, Jr., '96, was elected temporary secretary.
The following resolutions were adopted by the club:
Whereas, It has pleased providence to remove from our midst one of our fellow members, Judson Meade Clarke,
Be it resolved that realizing the great loss we have sustained in his death, we desire to express our deep sorrow, and to extend to his friends and relatives our sincere sympathy in their bereavement.
