The lecture on "The Choice of a Profession," which was to have been given before the Engineering Society yesterday, has been postponed on account of the sudden illness of the lecturer, Mr. Coxe.

Chess Club.The Boston Chess Club has invited the Harvard Chess Club to a team match, and the invitation will probably be accepted. A team of from ten to fifteen men is now being selected.
