The summer school will be in session for six weeks, from July 5 to August 15. The committee in charge consists of N. S. Shaler, chairman; A. S. Hill, D. G. Lyon, P. H. Hanus and T. H. Richards.
Twenty six different courses will be given, as follows: In English, three; German, two; French, two; Chemistry, four; Physics, two; Botany, two; Geology, three; Engineering, three; Trigonometry; Geometry and American History, one each; besides the two courses in physical training.
Women as well as men are admitted to most of the courses. In general the fees for these courses are $20 apiece. The college library will be kept open from 9 to 5 each day while the school is in session, and arrangements have been made to provide board and lodgings for the students at reasonable prices.
