The race for four oars with the Union Boat Club and the B. A. A. which was to have been held under the auspices of the Rowing Club on June 3, has been declared off. A member of the Union crew has been taken sick and the junior crew which the B. A. A. was to send has been withdrawn. Had this junior crew won the race it would have became a senior crew and would then have been debarred from another race for which it was entered. Instead of this triangular race there will be a mile race for doubles and singles for members of the club. Entries for this race may be made at Leavitt and Peirce's or at the boat house till tomorrow night. On Monday the annual meeting will be held, officers will be elected and there will be a three quarter mile race for canoes.
