The race for organized four-oared crews which was postponed from Saturday on account of the postponement of the Class Races, was rowed yesterday afternoon. The course was about a mile, starting from a point, just above the Harvard Bridge and finishing at the Union Boat Club. Only three of the five crews entered started. The race was won by crew 4, which was made up as follows: W. Wells, stroke, R. Bisbee, J. W. Lund, P. S. Abbott; coxswain, W. F. Baker. Crew 1, composed of R. C. Wadsworth, stroke, J. C. Fairchild, C. F. Lyman, A. J. Curtis came in second, and Crew 2, composed of J. C. Harwood, stroke, A. P. Carter, G. B. Magrath, O. B. Hawes, took third place.
