The second Harvard-Yale debate of the year will take place this evening at the Hyperion Theatre in New Haven. Only a few Harvard men are going but they hope to witness a victory for the Harvard speakers. The subject is, "Resolved, that the time has now come when the Policy of Protection should be abandoned by the United States." Harvard has the negative. H. C. Lakin '94 is the first Harvard speaker, F. C. McLaughlin '93 second, and F. W. Dallinger '93 third. The Yale speakers are Buttrick and Gillespie from the Yale Union and Tyner from the Kent Club of the Law School. The judges are President Low of Columbia, President Gates of Amherst, and Professor Smith of Columbia. Elaborate preparations have been made to have the debate in every way a success.
