The tie between '94 and '95 was settled on Saturday, when the juniors won by one touchdown and goal to nothing. It was a close struggle, however, and '94 worked hard for their last chance to win the class championship series. They deserve great credit for their plucky endeavor after the loss of two of their ablest men, and the injury to Cabot, their quarterback, during the game. Ninety-five is also to be congratulated on her strong showing. She won the game fairly and by superior playing.

The defensive work on both sides was excellent; but the condition of the field interfered very much in the aggressive playing. In the first half neither side scored, and the ball was kept well into the middle of the field. In the second half '95 reached the 5 yard line after several short gains, and a long run by Whittemore around the end, and Hitch made the touchdown. The seniors braced strongly and pushed the ball to the 15 yard line but lost it on downs. No further chance to score was given.
